Social Settings are a set up For your Phone to be Taken

By Brent Neenan

Going to college was a great experience. I recommend if you ever have the chance; you should definitely enroll. Not just at a community college though. Sure if you want to "get your learning on" community college is definitely the way to go. It's cheap and you always get out what you put into it so the right amount of effort will go a long way regardless of the alleged quality of the school. But what I'm talking about is a different animal. The whole college experience living in a dorm room or renting a house with a few of your buddies. Besides the loss of my iPhone case I don't regret one second of college life.

My personal favorite aspect about going away was definitely meeting new people. You'll be inundated with countless parties to attend and constantly bumping into new people. Between living the party life and managing your friends you'll find yourself in class being taught by sometimes eccentric professors. Some of which won't even lecture about the course subject at times. It may seem like all fun and games but you'll have to take the good with the bad.

Way back when in my days of college I still believed in safes. I had a cheap and relatively small safe of my own to protect my valuables. I didn't pay much mind to it all though because I assumed most of the people I was associating with were good but we all make errors.

If I can recall correctly I remember coming home on a Monday afternoon, after a day of classes and meeting new people. To my dismay though I found someone tried breaking into my safe containing my iPhone case. Although they failed at breaking it open and stealing the contents I felt a sense of betrayal. So many people would come and go on a daily basis that there were no answers for me. I wanted to explain to everyone that iluv's website sold cases at low prices and there would never be any reason to take my stuff.

If ever given the chance to dorm up at school let me emphasize that you should take that chance. It's going to be one of the most valuable experiences of your life. The one thing you can't do though is be foolish. Don't trust everyone you meet. Keep your most important things locked up. College students have the tendency to be pretty broke and there might come a time when you'll find something missing.
