Here are some of the new Kinect games for 2011. The first game that I'd like to talk of is Wipeout 2.
As far as new Kinect games, Wipeout 2 has to be one of the most fun, fast moving, and physically challenging games that I have reviewed so far. Just like the show the game is set up with you as the individual running thru the obstacle course. As your personality is required to go thru the obstacles you need to lead them with the movements of your body. You have Summer and Winter areas that you can play thru and it's a large amount of fun. I advise you pre order halo 4 so you can get it as shortly as it will come out.
Your Shape Fitness Developed 2012 I don't know should be classified as one of the new Kinect games as it seems to be more of a workout programme. That having been said it's a great workout program. You get to choose between straightforward warm up activities to jump rope, hula, or bootcamp. You can do yoga and even dance classes. You can choose a coach to help you on the way. I like it as you pick your level of difficulty.
Dance Central 2 isn't to unlike Dance Central 1. I admire the song selection slightly better as it appears to be a bit more like club music which is way more fun to dance to. The navigation platform is tougher as you can use voice controls. It seems to be a bit easier to navigate that way. You may also dance to predetermined playlists or build your own. This game is really physical but extremely fun!
One of the new Kinect games that I've enjoyed is Halo Combat Evolved. When you pop the game in, it prompts you to do an update right away. You use the Xbox controller to play but it has some advanced options. Voice commands are a large part of the update. You need to use your voice to select options like classic graphics, remastered graphics, lighter screen, darker screen etc... You can also voice command to reload a throw your grenades. This would be super cool but it makes it easy for others in the room to mess you up. Apart from that it's a real fun game to experience.
Ultimately I want to talk of Kinect Sports Season 2. You can pick from Golfing, Darts, Baseball, Skiing, Tennis and American Football. I spent most of my time playing the football and there are some fantastic features in this game. You are often playing the offense. Mostly because it's more fun to play the quarterback. You can network with other players and have multiple players. You select plays from the play book and carry them out.
Over all of these are the new Kinect games that I liked. I hope you get an opportunity to check them out.
