So I have a sad story to tell you. Your wallet and heart may hurt when I tell you what happened. My friend purchased an iPad and was thrilled, as she should be because it's a wonderful invention. She took it everywhere, but she didn't buy the apple care insurance the salespeople try to push upon you. Fine, I can understand not wanting to lay out more money, but she was taking a huge risk. I suggested that she buy a case, there are plenty of Samsung GALAXY cases to choose from.
This girl didn't want to listen to me. I'm only trying to help, but suddenly I'm that pushy salesperson trying to sell her insurance. Maybe she thought her new gadget was indestructible, even though nothing is indestructible. She was just being stubborn, but it was her call. I knew she wasn't going to buy a case, even though it was extremely cheaper than buying insurance.
She can't say I didn't warn her. One must take care of their technology and cherish it, otherwise it will break. That is exactly what happened to this poor girl. She was out and had her iPad with her, like she always does. Luckily her purse was big enough, so she was able to carry it around in that. But keep in mind she didn't have a case. We went to the local street fair that we go to every year. I don't understand why it is necessary to bring an iPad to a street fair, I could see bringing a camera, but not an iPad. It was a beautiful day for a street fair, but boy was it hot out! This didn't keep the crowd away because it was packed, you could barely walk. That's when it happened.
A big group of kids were walking in our direction, not looking where they were going. One bumped right into my friend so hard, she dropped her purse. It flew to the ground and then was stepped on by one of the other kids; I told you they weren't watching where they were going. Her problem could have been solved if she just bought a case from iLuv.
The iPad didn't make it. The screen was smashed and cracked and dead. She didn't buy insurance, so she was out of luck. If you're going to be stubborn and not get the insurance, at least buy yourself a case and save yourself from the misery that my friend experienced.
